Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Visits Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company

As part of Egypt’s continuous drive to enhance its investment climate and logistics ecosystem, we were proud to host H.E. Mr. Hassan El-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, at Alexandria Container and Cargo Handling Company on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

 

During the visit, the Minister toured our operational yards with Admiral Alaa Ibrahim, our Executive Managing Director, where he personally observed our advanced container handling operations processes, customs inspection facilities, and the latest facilitation measures implemented to accelerate trade flow and enhance service efficiency.

 

We were also honored by the presence of a distinguished delegation including  Admiral Ahmed Abdel-Moaty Hawash, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority, Tarek El-Houby, Chairman of the National Food Safety Authority, Essam El-Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control, Mohamed El-Gawsky, Assistant Minister for Planning, Development & Digital Transformation, Amani El-Wassal, Head of the Foreign Trade and Agreements Sector, and Abed Mehran, Advisor to the Minister for Investment Climate and Economic Competitiveness.

 

This visit reflects a shared commitment to enhancing port infrastructure, optimizing logistics performance, and supporting Egypt’s position as a competitive hub for international trade.
