According to the Investment Plan of the company to increase efficiency and productivity of our terminals. Admiral Mamdouh Draz, chairman & managing director of Alexandria Container & Cargo Handling Company, has visited China at the end of the last month ,and signed a contract for supplying two Quay cranes with total cost 300Million EGP.

Alexandria Container&Cargo Handling Company is the first specialized Container Handling Terminal in Egypt .It was established in 1984 to exersise all activities related to container handling  .The company operate two major terminals ,the first is the Alexandria container terminal at the port of Alexandria and the second is ElDekheila terminal at port of Dekheila .Alexandria terminal has 3 berthses for container vessles and one berth for RO-RO vessels from. .ElDekheila terminal start operating in1996 ,with one berth  which can accommedate 3 vesselsat one time. The company obtianed the ISO9002 certificate in February 1998 and the ISO 9001-2000 QMS in year 2003.It was also granted the certificate of Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series O.H.S.A.S- 180001/99 in year 2004
